Three weeks ago we changed our website's graphic design... we hope you like it. On the other hand, we have new copies available of our album El Momento that had been out of stock for some time... click here to purchase it. We also have a new mp3 on the sounds page. Also, don't forget to keep on voting for us at Sudrock.cl, we're currently in fourth place! And the new recordings continue... soon more news about that.

 The recording process has begun! That's right, after rehearsing the seven songs selected for recording, we held the first four sessions between 2-5 August, where Miguel recorded all his drum parts. They were quite long and gruelling, but came out with excellent results. Click here to see some photos of the process.

It's true, we've been a bit silent lately, no news and very few updates on the website. That's mainly because following the gig at the Cacho's Pub, Javier was ill for three weeks, and now Daniel has tendonitis and is unable to play guitar for two months. So we won't be doing any live performances for the time being, and instead will use this opportunity to record our new songs (leaving Daniel's guitar for the end of course). We'll also be manufacturing more copies of the El Momento album which is still in demand, and updating the website with the photos and sounds we owe you of the last gig at the Cacho's Pub, plus an extensive biography and some new sections. One of them will be exclusively for members of the Mailing List, featuring rarities such as old or unreleased songs, alternate versions, live recordings, and advances from the recording sessions of our new songs. So, if you're not on the list yet, subscribe now!

 The gig last night at the Cacho's Pub was a great success! More than a hundred people went to listen to our rock-pop-bossanova and Santiago Experiment's acid-jazz. It was a wonderful experience and we want to send a really big thank you to all the people who assisted, as well as for all the e-mails we received from friends who were unable to go! We also wish to thank the organisers Cristián from Cacho's Pub and Juan Peralta from Santiago Experiment, our soundman Juan Martínez, Darío Cardoso for the lighting, Muni and Phillip Roe for the photographs, as well as Diego Olivares from the group Los Queltehues and Joaquín from Santiago Experiment for accompanying us on some songs. We're absolutely tired out, but happy, and in the next few days will be uploading photos and sounds of the gig on the site. Keep checking!

We have a surprise: the long awaited release of our most recent studio recording, the song Caído en Sarajevo (Fallen at Sarajevo)! Download it, complete and free, here. It was written by Emil Groth and Daniel Duhart at the beginning of the 90's, shocked by the civil war that was ocurring in Yugoslavia at the time, which strangely becomes significant again today. Emil originally sang the song accompanied by Daniel on guitar, and we liked it so much that in 1994 we asked him to lend it to us for our album "Ecos del Sistema" (Echoes of the System), where we recorded a first version. Now, nine years later, we are releasing this second version, which is instrumentally and technically much more elaborate. We believe it manages to convey the drama of the innocent victims of war. We'd appreciate your comments by signing our Guestbook. We'd also like to send eternal thanks to Emil for lending us the song, and also acknowledge and thank the participation of Ignacio Meneses on drums, who recorded his parts just before leaving the group and moving to Europe.

 The performance at the Cacho's Pub on January 30th was a success! Many thanks to all the friends that went to support us. In the next few days we'll upload some photos of the gig. Meanwhile, enjoy the song Estático Dinámico (mp3 2.97 Mb).
