Comments: I started playing music when I was 6 years old and my dream from that early age was to have a rock group. While all my classmates were playing football, I was playing guitar and singing. Although I later took part in different musical groups as a child, my first rock groups came about during high school, such as Delaris and Evasión. In this period I also participated in the school choir. During my last high school year I formed ARKA, as a group with original songs in which we could express whatever we thought or felt using the musical styles we wished to. That goal has been kept to this day.

I've always been interested in playing different kinds of instruments. That's maybe the reason why I don't master any of them, but play a little of each. My base is definitely the guitar and bass guitar, but I have gone through recorder, harmonica, accordion, bassoon, keyboards, electric guitar and in more recent years, drums, bongos and other percussion accessories.

Similarly, I like all kinds of popular music, with a preference towards the 70's. Country, rock, pop, disco, punk, metal, latin-rock, etc. I think this taste for variety appears in ARKA's songs.

I'd like to thank the music teachers that have shared their talent with me throughout these years: Steve (from Barcelona), Gladys Pérez, Chris Ruhe (Compadre Chris), Pedro Sierra and Ana Luisa (Anita) Pérez. Without them, many of this wouldn't have been possible.
